Built for Reliability
A monitoring system that breaks is no good. Tiquify is designed from the ground up for stability.
Every change is verified through automated tests before it reaches production. No manual testing steps, no guesswork.
Tiquify keeps its dependency tree small on purpose. Fewer dependencies means fewer supply-chain risks and a smaller attack surface.
A strict CI pipeline ensures only production-ready code is deployed. Issues are caught early, not in production.
Development, staging, and production are strictly separated. Changes are tested in isolation before they affect your running system.
Reliability Is Not Optional
Your monitoring and alerting system is part of your critical infrastructure. If it goes down, you lose visibility exactly when you need it most. Tiquify is built with this in mind.
Engineering Discipline
Tiquify is built by a developer with over 15 years of professional software engineering experience. The design philosophy is simple: solve one problem, and solve it well.
This means:
- No feature bloat
- No unnecessary complexity
- No dependencies that aren’t strictly needed
Test-Driven Development
Every feature in Tiquify ships with automated tests. The test suite runs on every commit. Code that breaks existing tests cannot be merged.
This catches regressions early and ensures that the system behaves predictably as it evolves.
Minimal Dependency Footprint
Each dependency is a potential source of bugs, security vulnerabilities, and maintenance burden. Tiquify’s dependency list is kept deliberately short. Where standard library solutions exist, they are preferred over third-party libraries.
Upgrade Safety
Incoming e-mails are not lost during deployments or brief maintenance windows. Messages are queued and processed as soon as the service returns. Short planned downtime (under 15 minutes) happens without prior notice; longer maintenance is announced in advance.
The Unix Philosophy
Tiquify does not try to be a metric collector, a log aggregator, or a dashboard platform. It is a ticket system for monitoring alerts. It does that one thing well and integrates with the tools you already use for everything else.
